Author newsletter lists aren't as well known as they should be. Many of your favorite authors have a newsletter of some kind. Back in it's heyday, Twitter was the ultimate of newsletters where I followed favorites like Rick Riordan, Cassandra Clare, Marie Lu, Stephen King, and so many more. I loved hearing from them on a regular basis. Since the fall of Twitter, I have ventured into better ways (in my opinion) to hear from authors of all types on Substack. But authors use many different platforms and send their information in various newsletter forms with various regularity. I had an awesome reader experience when an author I follow, V.M. Burns selected my name in her monthly drawing. Not only did I win one of her many cozy mystery novels for free, she sent me a bonus one that featured standard poodles! 🥰
